blogito ergo sum

I took this picture when I came from Tilburg two weeks ago. It was Ede/Wageningen bus stop.
Ede is not Wageningen. Ede is the closest city from Wageningen village. Why I call it city for Ede? Because there is a train station in Ede. So, if you want to go to Wageningen by train, you have to look for Ede/Wageningen station.
After you arrive at Ede station, then you have to take the bus 88 in this bus stop. Don’t forget to prepare stripenkart for 3 strip.
Hello world! Welcome to my English blog. As a student studying in Netherlands using English, sometimes I just use English in the classroom. Because there are about 60 students from Indonesia (it is a ‘Kampung Melayu and Kampung Jawa, you know!), every time I speak in Bahasa Indonesia, even in Javanese with all my friends. That’s why, my English does not improve.
By using this blog, I try to write everything in English, of course, I will not use an academic English. Just a simple English! I hope this blog will improve my English, but not my Javanese, hehehe. Really, it is not easy! But I have to try. Please help me to make come comments on it.
“What’s in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.” - (Romeo and Juliet - William Shakespeare)
Masboi is my favourite nickname. But, my full name is Yohanes Widodo. Because I am Catholics, I got my baptize name: Yohanes. I rarely use Yohanes as my nickname. But, sometimes the teachers call me Yohanes, because they use first name as the nickname.
Widodo is a typical name of Javanese. It means ’selamat’, safe. It is famous name. No, it is not a famous, but how to call it: ‘pasaran’. If you are googling, you can find at least 249.000 words for Widodo. There are at least 16,800 words of Yohanes Widodo. Sometimes, I feel ashamed when I met someone with the same name.
